Columbus, Ohio based Fine Artist, Rachael Davis, lives on the far east side. As an artist and nature enthusiast, Davis pulls most of her inspiration from her every day life; the Sunset Maple in her back yard, Lacebark Elm in the Meijer parking lot, majestic sycamores and others found during nature walks with her children and friends.

Equipped with a BFA in Painting and Drawing from The Ohio State University, and a therapeutic fixation for detail, Davis is motivated by the idea of painting in the edges of the day. As a working mother, securing random moments throughout the day and night is of paramount importance to her art practice.
